This Privacy Policy describes how LitoTech (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects,
uses, and shares information when you use the Shopping List mobile application (the “App”).

What this app does
The App helps you create and manage shopping lists. Optional features include barcode scanning using your device camera
to quickly add products. The App may display ads provided by our advertising partners (e.g., Google AdMob).
Data we collect
1) Data you provide
- List content: Items you add to your shopping lists are stored on your device or in our cloud backend (if you sign in / enable sync). We do not sell your list content.
- Account details (optional): If the App uses sign-in or cloud sync, we may process your email and basic profile info to operate your account.
2) Data collected automatically
- Device and usage data: Diagnostics (crash logs, performance, basic device info) to improve stability.
- Advertising identifiers: Mobile Advertising ID and related signals used by our ad provider for showing and measuring ads.
- Approximate location: Inferred from IP address by our ad/analytics partners for regional ad delivery and fraud prevention. We do not collect precise GPS location.
3) Device permissions
- Camera: Used only to scan barcodes within the App. Camera input is processed on-device; photos/videos are not uploaded to our servers.
- Network: Required to fetch ads and sync your lists (if you use cloud features).
How we use your data
- Provide and maintain the App and its features (e.g., barcode scanning, list sync).
- Improve performance, fix bugs, and ensure reliability.
- Show and measure advertising and prevent fraud/abuse.
- Communicate with you about service updates or important notices.
Data sharing
We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the App:
- Advertising: Google AdMob (and its measurement partners) may collect Advertising ID, coarse location, and device signals to deliver and measure ads. See Google Ads Policy.
- Diagnostics: We may use platform diagnostics (e.g., Google Play services / crash reporting) to understand app stability and performance.
- Cloud storage/sync (if enabled): List content and account basics may be processed by our cloud provider solely to provide the sync service.
We do not sell personal data.
Your choices
- Advertising ID: You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
- Permissions: You can disable camera access in system settings. Some features (barcode scanning) will not work without it.
- Account & sync: If you sign in, you can request deletion of your account data by contacting us at support@litoco.site.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law.
Diagnostics and ad measurement data are typically retained by our providers for limited periods consistent with their policies.
Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (e.g., TLS encryption in transit).
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
- Performance of a contract: To provide the App and requested features.
- Legitimate interests: App security, diagnostics, and non-sensitive improvements.
- Consent: Personalized advertising and device permissions (e.g., camera) where required by law or platform policy.
California privacy rights
If you are a California resident, you may have rights to access, delete, or opt out of certain data practices under the CCPA/CPRA.
